I don’t know if it’s you or someone you know that needs to hear this today, but here it is.

Keep going.

When you’re tired, when you’re broke, when it doesn’t make sense, when people say not to. Keep going.

Jim Rohn called it the until formula. Keep going until it pays off. Alex Hormozi says you’ll win as long as you don’t stop. Brian Tracey referred to it as true courage, the I will not quit mentality.

Whatever you’re doing that you thought would be further along by now. Keep going.

It’s hard. Believe me, I get it. You and I have both been there when it seems no matter what we do we can’t get ahead. You and I know those days when the only thing that makes sense to do is wave a huge white flag and mail it in.

Don’t do it. Keep going. At least a while longer. At least one more day, because you’re closer than you think to a breakthrough. At least that’s what I read in Ed Mylett’s “The Power of One More”. I don’t know if it’s true, but I have faith that it is because something has to keep me going.

Keep it rolling. You’re close, or at least a lot closer than you were. Don’t stop. Keep being patient. With your goals. With your kids. With your spouse. With your business. Keep being patient. Keep trying. Keep it rolling. At least a while longer. Until it pays off.

Because it will.

Personally, my belief in that is the only thing that keeps me going. It’s the belief that better is coming that springs me out of bed at 3:45am every day and propels me through 14 hour work days. I do it because it’s working. It is for you too. Whatever you’re working on, it’s working. So keep going.

I realized this last Sunday. It’s the one day every week I mostly take off. I slept in, went out for brunch, went shopping, had a donut and a coffee from a new coffee shop, watched the Master’s for a couple hours, worked out in the gym I built, took a photo of my dream truck, took my mini husky for a walk, watched a movie and went to bed next to my dream wife.

I realized that things were starting to pay off.

That day was what I’ve been working for. It’s working, I thought to myself.

Most of the time for the last 6 years I didn’t think it was. Most of the time I’d been thinking to myself what am I doing? Why am I doing this?

But I didn’t stop. Even when I asked people smarter than me if I should and they said yeah probably. I didn’t stop.

I’m still far from where I want to be, and I’m sure I could make many of you stressed out just by hearing about my current position along the road. But it’s working, and I’m not about to stop now.

Neither should you, and if you already knew that, make sure you pass along this message.

Someone in your life needs to hear this. If it’s not you, someone close to you is on the verge of giving up. Don’t let that happen on your watch.

Keep going.

See you next Thursday.
